I’m so over this myth that trans-women are going out of their way to “trick” supposedly heterosexual men. I think a lot of these “straight” men feel disgusted with themselves for being attracted to a particular group of women (in this case—trans-women), and so rather than working through their own internalized homophobia/transphobia, they’d rather take out their anger and aggression on the very demographic that they’re attracted to. Its weak. Its pathetic. Most of all, its transphobic. The fact that there are so many posters on here perpetuating this myth is so disappointing. I’m literally shaking as I type this. So frustrating.
