Pippen is like one of the only players on that list that's both overrated and underrated. He is Top 50, because he really could do it all and was a top notch defender. The other players they try to peg as Pippen-like can't score for ish, nor do anything as good as him. As for overrated, people sometimes act like Pippen was Oscar or something. He was well above average at everything but not exceptional at anything but defense.

He was drafted 5 overall he wouldve been a star on any team thing is he played with Jordan but that still dont take away from his ability.

see how you overrated scottie's offense. at their best they both put up the same number of points and assists. and they did it almost the same way as ball handling point forwards who can hit the three and post up smaller defenders.
the only difference was that scottie could finish at rim and on the break.

Pippen wasn't a 3pt shooter at all, which is something that became a niche for Hedo. Hedo could pass but couldn't run an offense, unlike Pippen, and he couldn't break people down off the dribble...his handle wasn't that great. He was a horrid rebounder at 6'9-10". You would've been better comparing Mash or Jalen.

And Pippen was the template for Lebron; Grant Hill was the blueprint.

A better comparison wouldve been Lebron minus the scoring. You cant say Hedo and Pippens style is similiar because the game was changed to accomodate euro style of play.

There are the occasional highlights pass interceptions and chase down blocks but one on one he is often afraid to foul or take a charge. Battier Defense is greater than LeBron.
There is no way pippen could go multiple games without fouling and consider that a good thing. Fouls can be good in certain situations.
