The Pistons need to get better by improving in the draft not by trying to make the playoffs as a low seed. You gotta know when to hold em and know when to fold em.
They got enough skills and size in the frontcourt to be note than a first round team in the east though. If they finish the season on a great run, they might be able to convince monroe this is where it at and also increase jennings value enough to make him tradeable in the offseason. Besides Chicago they can take any team in the east to seven games probably

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Id rather keep monroe first then go deaymond and kawhi last

Monroe and drummond have potential to be one of the toughest front courts in years but dray and drum would be a match up nightmare wirh green having the ability to hit the 3

Kawhi is dope but idk if im sold on him outside pops coaching and three first ballot hof players. Hed be the de facto nunber 1 player from jump here

Plus i trust gundys method of towers in the middle and shooters every where

Is Draymond an SF though? That's the thing I wonder, he's a dope mismatch at the 4, but playing him full time at the 3 is different, which is why I'd make Kawhi a priority over him.

I think Draymond is the move you make if you lose Monroe, if you keep him then Kawhi is the right choice, he's not ball dominant and he's still very young. There's also Tobias Harris, Wesley Matthews and KJ McDaniels, a young wing that can defend or score is what you really need now.

He wasn't gonna be drafted that early anyway. He was late 1st or early 2nd if I recall.

I do like the prospect of Draymond at the 4 and think we have a legit chance with him since he's from Saginaw. I know he's always coming back to do shyt with MSU, and with his d and mismatch ability at the 4 he's an intriguing option. The fact that he can stretch the floor, handle and pass, and has a high bball iq makes me think he'd be real good with Van Gundy.

So happy for detroit right now.. it stinks that they're so far back, 2.5 behind miami for the 8th spot but more so 5.5 behind the nets and bucks for 7th & 6th. Still got more than enough time left in the season to catch up but not too much room for any more bad losing streaks as the aforementioned teams seem capable of maintaining a .500 pace.. well, i dunno what's going on with miami but regardless hopefully detroit can keep it up by at least continuing to win against the not so good teams and competing against the pretty good to better ones.
