ready to watch the Yankees under construction
If they continue on the path, the Yankees are in a tremendous position.

Experience tells you that no matter how much promise a prospect has, things will not always pan out.
So between Greg Bird, Tyler Austin, Gary Sanchez, Aaron Judge, Clint Frazier, Gleyber Torres, Justus Sheffield, James Kaprelian...etc....most of them will not pan out. Or at least won't pan out with the Yankees.

However, if just a few DO work out, in tandem with the financial power the Yankees can always flex...the future is pretty bright.
I don't think it'll happen too soon, and frankly I'm stunned that Joe Girardi was not fired because A) he fukking sucks and B) I can't see a veteran manager like him sticking around thru the growing pains of a young team.

The Mets figure to make a strong run for the NL East crown this year. So NYY will continue to take a little bit of a backseat.
But I'm optimistic for the first time in a while.

Girardi's around for this because of his time in Miami.
