I never liked Pitchfork, or most critic reviews. The fact that Yeezus got a 9.5 says a lot about their writers naive mindset when listening to rap.

I don't like critic reviews either, just pointing out how a lot of people on here contradict themselves when it comes to their fav rapper getting shytted on, the Nas grammy situation is another example. Had MCHG got an 8.0 or something, these same stans wouldn't be in here all as for the yeezus album a 0 is too high it deserves a -10

this review is actually better than their usual work tho. I mean the author did at least take time to talk about actual songs on the album . Pitchfork doesn't actually critique music they just do unnecessary personality profiles.

for the life of me I'll understand why people give this one site soooo much power. Sitting like :Gladbryan: anticipating the chance to be at the reviews.

You seem more upset than the Jay fans. People can't say that Pitchfork has always sucked without that being an "excuse"? That makes no sense. They were right..yeezus def deserved a 9.5, but they misjudged magna carter..shyt should of gotten at least a 9..the whole review was trash..didn't say nothing about the beats or the song structure or how Hov was spitting heat..all they were doing were nitpicking the lyrics like lil monkeys trying to groom for bugs..just cuz they can't relate to what Hov was saying doesn't mean they should bash his lyrics,,they sound mad..yup they hating..but luckily no one buys albums based of a pitch fork review..

We can't say that their reviews haven't always been consistent? I'm not aware of what you've seen on here or any other sites, but I don't get why you'd have an issue with people sayin' that they don't dig a particular site, or never have.

Why would that matter? Isn't that what we do all day on here? Talk about what we dig and don't? Cole, Wale, Kanye, and The Clipse have all been mentioned, but dudes are supposed to just be focused on Jay? Dudes can't talk about how they had other reviews for those artists that they didn't agree with? We're not required to get into that "I love Jay/I hate Jay" shyt all day. That's the point right there. I seriously doubt that anyone cares about your posts history. You're not in court, fam. I'm really not concerned with your issues with "Jay stans" and all that, or how you feel about some album.
