How you got random indie rock and EDM albums sprinkled in with Hip hop and R&B? And why stop there, where's the metal, jazz and country music? Or maybe i missed it and you got a token metal and jazz in there somewhere. This list makes no sense to me.

Kamasi Washington is jazz and is on the list (I saw him somewhere in the 30-40 range)

he was also #2 in 2015

Pitchfork have already included a lot of coutry albums in the past, but the word is metal and country albums were wack compared to other genres this year.
