They are something sounds fishy he should've got a tone in his headset if he was low also he should've reviewed the forms before takeoff stating the fuel load

Something had to gone wrong in air so he should've May Day or did something assume he was in th air for a while but idk

Dont even have to go that far . the gauges would tell you. Consumption probably was already calculated before plus fuel for alternates.
They declared mayday so i assume it was something sudden or catastrophic.
Wheres everyone getting this fuel loss story? Where they in the mountains with no where to glide it down to?
Let me head over to the pilot forum on pprune and see what they saying over there. Every time theres an accident the board fills up though
