I kinda agree with him, go to the water and do what?

The people at the crash site have a job to do and if he there they will have to stop traffic, it will be a logistical nightmare. It is basically a photo op.
Stupid son of a bytch.

It's speculated that they were looking at a plane further out over the Potomac landing one the main runway 1, not the CRJ that was circling to land on the shorter runway 33.
I don’t expect much from the black boxes, looks like neither pilots saw each other at all

All we know is that the chopper was too high and crossed into the planes route

They shouldn’t have been.. because ATC specified to PAT “Traffic south of the bridge, 1200, on approach for RWY 33” and PAT said “Traffic in sight request Visual separation”

That PAT helicopter is deeply familiar with the landmarks around the airport. They know what “south of the bridge” means, and they know that “1200 on approach” doesn’t mean that the plane their looking for is on the ground

Kinda irritating when I listen to people in the media that are supposed to be experts not go over the entire conversation. They seem to just jump to right before impact when ATC again asks if he as the CRJ in sight

Like…. No. A traffic call was already initiated and the pilot was told where to look (by the bridge) and told what that CRJ was doing (an approach to RWY 33)
I think sometimes you just feel like your smarter and want to do things your way. I feel like the chopper pilot wasn’t even listening to the traffic controller and was in his own world and he was too high to begin with

The president and his people want to privatize the NAS (national airspace) that’s what this whole thing is about.

There’s a lot of $$ to be made by doing this

Having this accident and blaming someone is the perfect Segway into trying to enact “change”. Which I agree change should be made in ATC……. I just don’t trust Trump to be that person to do so

Breh! You just cleared up what the play is!

I always wondered what the beef was with govt employees. I got the hate because they have unions, but you filled in the other half.

These industries being manned by the government could make someone ALOTTA money if privatized.

Man the crazy thing is for everyone who has been on a plane we know this is the part we all look forward to. Pilot comes on the overhead and say we are landing soon, you feel the wheels pop up you can see the city lights and knowing soon you'll be landing just chilling and waiting. Just absolutely :mindblown:
I get nervous at that time when the wheels hit the tarmac I’m thinking brake brake don’t crash into the wall of the airport :damn:

I don’t think it was an accident
