Yo, this doesn't feel nearly as enjoyable as kicking back with the dualshock 4

If I connect this PC to an LG 55 inch OLED 4k tv will it have any significant downsides vs a high end gaming monitor with g sync? The graphics card can render 1440p at ultra at well over 60 frames, but not even close to 4k

Also, does anyone feel the opposite? That gaming at a desk is more fun? You got any tips?

What about input lag or high latency or whatever they say about this setup?
There's always input lag but how sensitive you are to it is another matter.
My TV has a input lag of 33.2ms in most modes. Highest is 49.1ms at 1080p outside game mode. It's perfectly fine to me. anything below 35ms is great. hardcore gamers might opt for less than 5ms though.

depends on your TV

in general try to turn off all the extra options your TV has. most of that crap is to make movies/TV look better, but with games you want a 'pure' signal

Honestly I sit up and lean forward like I'm at a desk when I'm console gaming on the couch. I don't see how can anybody be immerse into the game they're playing when they're laid back relax.
