The way @Gil Scott-Heroin is blaming the front office for this you would think he wasn’t the main one cheering when they gave Draymond a terrible contract and killed all of their cap space :pachaha:

Now all of a sudden Draymond was expected to be this bad after @Gil Scott-Heroin claimed he was DPOY all season

Draymond is out there doing absolutely nothing on either end of the floor, and Steve Kerr is letting him. Now Kerr will insert Kuminga into Game 7 so he can be used as a scapegoat. Just shameful

@who_better_than_me  If the rockets win game Seven they're pretty much going to be in the WCF against OKC. Wolves are an easy match up for the rockets and I see Jalen Green going off in the second round.
How so?

T’Wolves have legit frontcourt depth and athleticism. None of this Kevon Looney and Quinten Post shyt. It’s the main reason Houston has come back in this series, because GS simply don’t have the bigs to match them.

I thought you said you’re not watching this series because you don’t care about it?

I didn't watch. I'm on the east coast, not staying up for these west coast games. I woke up now and read this thread and saw you starting to cop pleas and hedge bets after all that chest thumping after game 4.

It did work because at that point of the game Adams was 5-12 from the line - that means the Rockets only scored 5 points on 6 possessions.

That's considerably worse than their points per possession for the rest of the game.

How hard is that for you to understand?

You type all this still ignoring the original point made: it didn’t work because poor rebounding sabotaged. Nothing worse than a disingenuous d!ckhead who wants you go back and forth without addressing any points made.

They started the strategy with 3:43 left in the 3rd with the score 77-72. By 2:21 after the last hack-a-Adams the score was 84-77.

5 point game :hula: 7 point game.

They picked it up again in the 4th with 5:31 left in the game with the score 101-89. By 2:24 after the last one, the score was 112-97.

12 point game :hula: 15 point game.

So the rebounding was the issue, not the actual tactic of sending Adams to FT line, which worked, because they only generated 5 points on 6 possessions at that point of the game. Securing the rebound after the fact has nothing to do with implementing Hack-A-Shaq, because securing the rebound is literally an action needed at the end of every defensive possession.

They failed to grab rebounds all night.

That had nothing to do with sending Adams to the FT line.

In fact, because he's the best offensive rebounder in the league, it decreases his chances of hitting the offensive glass when he's at the line because he can't camp underneath the rim waiting for the ball to bounce his way after a missed shot.

Sending him to the line was also valuable for the Warriors because they could get a breather, and not have to exert even more energy defending those jumbo lineups Houston sent out there, which was why the struggled so much in the 4th because they ran out of gas.

Their poor rebounding absolutely does have affect the efficacy of strategy. I didn’t say the strategy caused them to be poor rebounders, I said that the poor rebounding sabotaged the strategy, which is backed up by the point differentials.

They start the 3rd down 5 and begin the strategy down 5. They end the strategy down 7. They close out the quarter without being able to use the strategy and it’s a 2 point game.

In the 4th they were gassed, so it was heading to a blowout no matter what, but the strategy did not help them either. Thus, it did not work.

Retarded. Wolves in 5
Ehh….Wolves have all the pieces to neutralize what strengths the Rockets have shown so far, but the inverse is also pretty much true. They’re probably going to win the rebounding battle and can play Edwards straight up. They should be beyond seasoned at help and recover after this series if they needed to play that way.

Just gonna come down to manufacturing enough points like always with them. I’d take Wolves because their defensive guys do show a bit more offensive punch, but 5 feels pretty short
