They will do anything to downplay his dominance.

60 win teams like the '11 Bulls and '15 Hawks are called frauds even though they dominated Western Conference teams during the regular season and would have been in the Finals if it weren't for LeBron.

They'll call the Celtics old when they were all in their early to mid 30's and making All-Star teams and Rondo was in his prime.

The injuries to his supporting cast and the Herculean efforts he had to put up against historic defenses in '12 and '13 are conveniently forgotten.

They'll downplay 55-60 win Toronto teams because they were to LeBron what the Knicks were to M.J. in the 90's.
This has got to be the first time ever where we downplay damn near 60 win teams because LeBron just "owned them" or they're "frauds"

The 2018 Celtics were a 55 win team that had a better record without Kyrie throughout the season but because they were led by Al Horford and Jayson Tatum it doesn't mean shyt but no team in the West aside from the Rockets and Warriors were better.

I really don't know how Kobe got into this either.

I just want to push back on this "Playoff Bron" narrative like him being in the playoffs is some auto-championship deus ex machina event, which is clearly not the case. Far from it.

It’s never been the case for ANY player not named Jordan (in his prime).

With that being said Bron has had some GREAT moments on par or better with many all time greats.:yeshrug:

Everyone recognizes that. That's not what is being described in the original post. It is the assumption that Bron(clearly past his prime at 35 no less) is some almighty playoff performer that has always won and the rest of the NBA should fear come postseason. Nah bro.

For the record, I really like Rob Parker, one of my favorite media personalities. But I disagree with like two-thirds of his takes lol, this is definitely one...

These shows are just as scripted as WWE. I'll never understand why people take these guys opinions so serious. They have to have opposing view points on topics or there'd be no point in having a show. I'm not trying to call you out, don't get that idea. Just irritated by all these threads that get made because media talking heads make outlandish statements. They do that shyt to get people talking and it always works.

So when we mention this eastern conference streak and people are treating it as the greatest feat in modern sport...lauding the endurance it takes and all that good stuff... we're just supposed to ignore he's swapping out new and younger all NBA and all Star supporting casts to do it lol? The other names homie mentioned wouldn't have benefited from that

Bron doesn't get shytted on for team hopping, the conscenous narrative is he's the pioneer of "player empowerment" for jumping from stacked roster to stacked roster then skating town once the squad has exhausted all of their cap room, draft picks and assets from constant win now or else seasons... to go do it all over again somewhere else... then when the team he leaves starts the rebuild process, because they have no choice, that's also used as a sign of his greatness.. the only player that actually gets shytted on, is KD... mainly because he beat Bron at his own team hopping, ringchasing ways...then like a fool, left the perfect basketball situation because he let Bron Stans in the media get in his head about it
But both teams he went to didn't have "stacked" rosters. Cavs had Kyrie and Wiggins and a bunch of scrubs. Miami had Wade and Bosh and filled the rest of the roster with minimal salaried players. So where the fukk are these stacked rosters he jumped on? KD roster he joined was stacked. They won 73 games and been to the finals back to back already. Y'all keep trynna push the false narrative.
