anyway....I looked at the thread title and posted...I barely read any of the posts in here...because I know it's the usual fukkery...
about what? none of the sales from any of these companies do anything for me....they will all sell like hot cakes, some more than others (obviously)....but at the end of the day I don't see the point in getting giddy over console sales....i'm more worried about shyt like..."am I enjoying myself"..."does this have the games i want to play"....but fukk that, let's talk about sales....shyt we can't play. Personally i've never given a fukk about sales...ever...from music to games....I don't care for it.
Like I said...shyt like this remind me of the booth...nikkas throwing out sales figures left n right like it's suppose to make or break a product. What about the actual quality of the thing you're supporting or hating? but carry on...i'm just being salty.
How easily they forgot about the PS3's struggle when it's the competitor going through something similar (although the X1 is selling way better than the PS3 every did). I guess it makes for good threads, but I feel some of these nikkas actually think the X1 is in trouble....hilarious.

We don't have to come out with games for 20 years and we would still win in sales. Sony just allows games on its system for the icing on the cake

Difference is the PS3 was the more powerful console that offered many advantages over the 360 and the best exclusive game library of the generation. 360 survived off the strength of a year-long headstart, the fps craze and bro culture, but it was only a matter of time until the ps3 caught up.
The popular choice this gen has already shifted to Sony due largely to Microsoft's toxic approach to consumers and they dont have any of the advantages that either the 360 or ps3 had last gen that would enable them to catch up. Voice control gimmicks are not system sellers. Their killer app exclusive fps has come and gone while the best in ps4 exclusives is still yet to come.
People are probably talking about the xbone being in trouble because of all the headlines, business news and magazine covers that have been saying the same thing...

Series was never a system seller or touted as the game that would make people buy a Quad though. Titanfall was supposed to be what Gears 1 was for the 360 and while it was good and moved systems, it didn't have nearly the impact it was supposed to have.
Also, the resolution thing is gonna be ugly the whole gen for Xbox 1. They're gonna have to get the price lower than the PS4, not even equal to it. Internet, word of mouth is too strong at this point and people are clearly aware of the power difference at this point.
The XB1 is not gonna catch the PS4 in sales, Playstation is a GLOBAL brand. But that's not to say that the XB1 can't and won't be profitable for MS. That's what they should concentrate and strive towards which I'm sure they are. All that hard work that was put into Xbox 360 increasing it's marketshare has gone directly down the toilet due to horrible choices and strategy by Xbox leadership.
Promoting Phil to lead the Xbox brand was a great move imo. But I'm pretty sure MS has revised it's expectations on XB1 sales for the gen. That 3rd console curse is real.

Your right. Xbone I don't think will take off until there exclusive AAA titles like Fable, gears, halo and games like that drop....the same can be said for the PS4 but with it being the lead platform for this gen the multiplats will look better on it and they have a stronger exclusives library.
