It's targeted discounts. Microsoft does something similar with the "for you" page where there's exclusive discounts for certain users.

Naw “for you” is a page of discounts on games they deem may be “for you” But the discounts themselves hold true for anyone who chooses to buy those games.

Different people don’t get different discounts. This is a sony exclusive

Continuing the logical discussion, Just For You does not raise the price. And more times than not, its just an item that was on sale anyway and its advertised JUST FOR YOU because its a good deal. Red Dead Redemption Next gen upgrade was free for anyone who owned a previous version. So that showed up as a JUST FOR ME but its for whoever qualifies. Could there ever be a time where I get a discount that nobody else gets? I mean, that sounds like very time consuming to customize sales for 50million subscribers, IDK. Cool? Its never really for a new game. The Borderlands Collection for $30 is one they always trying to get me to buy and its cheap enough but I never got into borderlands like that

Either way ladies and Xbox intellectuals. I think all of us rationale thinkers can see that Sony is gonna Sony and Sony Stans are gonna take fist to Bung, and they will make excuses for why its ok

I don't need to add on to the mountain of criticization that is done here already. The things I criticize Microsoft and Xbox on y'all completely ignore or pivot from anyway.

I don't criticize their 1st party games too much because I've never been a huge fan of 1st party Xbox games. I can probably count on both hands that I I've wanted a day 1 1st party Xbox game from start to now. But y'all don't hear me when I say that it wasn't until they started acquiring studios and publishing did I start to play more of their 1st party stuff sooner and really enjoy it.

I'm a fan of the Xbox because of the ecosystem and how they consistently push gaming forward technology wise. From forcing highspeed adoption with the OG Xbox to online profiles and storefronts all the way to now with quick resume, gamepass, play anywhere and smart delivery.

So I don't have much to criticize especially 1st party game wise because I'm not the target audience for most of them, and if I do play something 1st party and it's cool but not mind blowing, I'm not pressed because I didn't drop 70 on it. But tbh, mostly you can't really have conversations with constructive criticisms about Xbox own this site without it spiraling and that just is what it is

?? It's a game I don't really like, I only played one match, I didn't like it.

Meh, did the tutorial run and a regular one. Did nothing for me. Gunplay feels like good ole' Bungie stuff but the game feels sparse and too quiet. Not going to bother trying to get into this. The UI is so cluttered and busy. Not to mention this game will have someone tweaking with all the damn flashing colors.

Why would I be talking about Sony or Bungie "letting this happen?"
