Bro I am keeping the same energy. It's basic marketing 101. I didn't say whether it was right or wrong. Just stated that this happens in every aspect of ur purchasing life. Ur the one who got emotional. I'm keeping it real. I don't really care and I'm not that invested.
This the part they don't get.

If you don't give a fukk about it then why even respond in the first place and dismissively at that? Once again you think I dont know that? Being informed makes one a smart consumer. We all have to consume in order to live. A lot of people get unknowingly preyed upon. Does that make it right? You can keep on not caring but all this apathy is why shyt is the way it is now. And the post you quoted wasnt even addressed to you. I'm passionate about particular issues within society. Like I said before companies like Instacart are doing this with shyt people actually NEED like food. It is wrong and these companies a gouging consumers even during times of heavy inflation and high unemployment. It's all fine and "i don't care" until it happens in other areas that heavily affect people. The simplest mechanism to stop the spread is call it out wherever it takes place. So like I said before why defend this?

Nah keep that same energy. It was all fun and games when you tried to hop on and dismiss my question about the ethicality of this with an appeal to normality (normal != ethical). They were higher back then because of hardware and the much smaller player base. Cartridges were expensive to manufacture because of the ROM chips and extra hardware some games used. On top of that the market was much smaller so development costs had to be amortized across far fewer players. That’s why many SNES/N64 games were $60–$80 in the 90s, which is over $100 today adjusted for inflation. Games still make companies money because with digital there is no overhead for manufacturing and shipping with the benefit of the ultra large player base today it keeps prices low with good profit margins. Again why defend this? :mjlol: I still haven't heard an answer to that question. Just admit it's terrible lol
For one, it's less of a defense and more of comment of observation. And two, as we've said, if it isn't raising the actual price, then you've yet to even clarify the actual issue. You on a stance of what you perceive it can become instead of what it actually is. You doing the most even with the price gouging comparative since it surely isn't even remotely that since as you stated, are items of luxury, not of actual needs. And it's still only stated selective pricing decreases. Until something of real note shows it to being otherwise, go on your Captain Planet tirade against capitalism somewhere on some real actual issues. "Ohh...but these gaming companies are manipulating these poor people out of their monies". nikka grow up.

Nah fukk that bullshyt. Not once have you said it was unethical. Gaming industry isn't isolated from the market as a whole. You see this here because it is becoming a trend. Btw not giving a fukk about issues isnt growing up it's becoming docile.
