You actually don't have a right to put your hands on your kids. With kids you get charged with domestic abuse and child endangerment.
It's just that your less likey to be reported/convicted of beating your kids because children don't have a huge lobbying group like women

I made this thread because I've seen many posts/threads where posters have chronicled their childhood beatings done by their parents (specifically) from their mothers.
Grown men have spoke about bein hit with extension cords, shoes, belts, phones, slaps and punches by their mothers. But if their husbands hit the mamas with a belt, that man would be goin to jail

Disciplining your kid is not considered abuse. Fighting your kid is. You can spank them/belt them all you want. You just can't be knocking them out and swinging with closed fists and shyt.
Imo the big difference is that you and your kid have to be together. Thats your kid. Until they're 18 you have to raise them. There is no mutual agreement, its your way or the highway. So sometimes you gotta smack them around to get your point across
With your woman you guys are choosing to be together. You don't own her and she doesn't owe you shyt. You guys came to an agreement to be together, so you guys should be able to come to an agreement about your arguments without resorting to violent.
