Really though what do prayers do for these victims? Dear omniscience omnipresent omnipotent father in heaven who knew this shooting was gonna happen before it even did. I ask you who knew of all this and know the families need your favor before I even ask to bless them because even if you know if I don't ask you won't do it. Are people that arrogant to think if they pray about this it matters to anyone?

I agree with you, but now is not the time my dude. Let people mourn the best way they know how.

Glad this piece of shyt didn't use the .223, he would have killed a lot more people.

:whoa::whoa: NYC is #1 on last years murders list? I live in South Jamaica and shyt has calmed down somewhat. Where did you get your "info" from?

RIP to the victims. I can't even begin to imagine what type of mindset someone would need in order to kill children and elementary school teachers.

Exactly, they always try to paint us as crimminal.

:rip: to the kids...I feel bad for there loved ones...this is really messed up. This messed up my day brehs.

On a side note, I told my white co-worker a work that if this was an Arab/Muslim that did this, people would be looking at them suspicion, but white dudes in their 20s are not treated like minorities in terms of stereotyping. Negative stereotypes do not stick them.

Yes, even on the news the newscaster said theres a theme here white, male and mid 20s-30s. And another guy said, i forget his name, yes theres a theme male mid 20s but all males are capable of being this violent.

:snoop: Breh.....stop it.

I haven't prayed or gone to church on my own in years. I'm not really religious at all. But I'm not about to shyt on people who turn to prayer in a time like this.

For some people, prayer/religion is pretty much all they have; to deal with certain periods in their life, or even deal with their life, period. People out there who are poor, starving, or suffering in some way; all they have to keep their spirits up enough to face another dreadful day, is religion, prayer and hope. A belief that things are going to get better, if not in this life, then in the next one.

It's a lot easier to be a sarcastic about shyt like that when you live in a first world country, you have a job, don't have to worry about where your next meal is coming from and haven't personally experienced any really difficult times, like having a family member brutally murdered. Let these people find comfort and understanding the way they choose. Let then converse with the man upstairs, in an effort to ease their suffering and to come to terms with their situation. Let them believe in heaven, so they can feel that their loved one still exists in some form, and that they can meet them again someday. If they want to believe that 'everything happens for a reason' or 'God works in mysterious ways', then let them. It's a hell of a lot better than saying "My child is gone, and the man who killed him is dead. I'll never see my child again because heaven doesn't exist, and the killer won't suffer because he murked himself and hell don't exist either....oh well, life goes on :yeshrug:"

Funny how that works. No secret as to why, though. Funny enough you'll probably draw all sorts of ire for that statement, but it's spot on.
