I have no animosity towards prayer. Some people need a stuffed animal to go to sleep. Doesn't really do anything they just think they need it until the day they realize it does nothing. Prayer will do nothing for the people suffering here. My friend God doesn't act on this world, he left us a long time ago, now he is just a eternal father watching over our little world, and makes sure to bring faith and hope to those who wan't to embrace it, and if you one day do, you will enjoy and eternal life in Heaven.
Right now there are kids starving to death in some third world country. Some CEO is padding his bank account with more money than his grand kids can spend and some rapper is buying another they don't need and might rarely if ever drive and there is a kid laying on the floor dying from poverty that will never get news coverage and that the American public won't care about because the media doesn't shove it in their face.I guess I was a bit too harsh. I just feel like although this sh1t is sad alot of other fukked up sh1t that happens daily in the hood/third world countries routinely go noticed.

as for this thread - It's called Gun Control: keyword, control. we need to put tougher restrictions and ban semi-automatics. If you like guns for sport why do you have a problem with it? surely if you say you need a gun to protect your family, you should be more than happy to go through the extra steps and knowing that it's filtering out potential people that may HURT your family. I just dont get it.
