They can't promote them in the same capacity... as they don't have the appeal MMG has.

in all reality, Plies never had mainstream appeal... his radio songs did, but his music as a whole didn't... that's why once those hits ran their course so did those type of fans.

Webbie and Boosie know their lane, and they stay in it.

Why would they promote such rappers to a market that doesn't care for/appreciate their type of rap?... that's counterproductive for both sides.

the person who's more likely to cop that Boosie,Webbie or Plies album is probably the least likely to cop that Wiz Khalifa album or that Wale joint.

Plies isn't exactly hurting for money..and had a good run, right now he's out there making music for the folks that want that type of music.
