You actually can't drive from Colombia to the U.S. because of the Darien Gap, which completely shrouds the border between Panama and Colombia. It's almost completely inhospitable, and there are no roads you can use to cross it. The area where all those abandoned belongings from migrants were lying on the ground was real.

:ohhh:I stand corrected, I heard about it when I was a kid, I figured they had a fukking road by now seeing the economic growth of both countries.

This critique reminds me of everybody hating on Andre 3000's flute album once they realized it's not secretly an entire rap project and actually just a flute album. We're expecting a different type of show than it was ever even presented as and mad that it's not being something it never said it was :manny:
Honestly I didn't even watched a trailer for this show so I had no expectations, its just boring

One of those episodes were they draw a line in the sand and double down on the type of show it is. You take it or leave it.

Of course the latin town he passed has no fukking washing machines, of course Peru also has cars from the fukking 60s, of course he is learning english using fukking tapes. Has the showrunner ever visited a fukking latin america country? :wtf:

Yes, some places in south america are still kinda stuck in the past, but they OD'd on it. Mano's character would make more sense if the show was in 2005, not 2025. I also wonder why the chose Paraguay, because the actor is evidently colombian and has a very strong accent. Why couldn't he just be from there? :dead:
