Used to often in college. I always approached on a comedic, lighthearted tip, though.
Also picked and chose my spots carefully.
Case in point, I got at one in the elevator. Body was vicious.
It was about six of us to start out with until me and her were left, both heading to the 7th floor.
I broke the ice with "This is always the most awkward part." and she was grinning from ear to ear.
I was smashing two weeks later.
Gave me a chance to gauge her interest and made the conversation lighthearted.
On cold approaches, half the battle is getting her to be comfortable around you.
She knows you want to sleep with her, but if you can make her feel like she's known you her entire life, it makes things so much easier and smooth.
Unfortunately, it's all moot if she's repulsed by the sight of you.

Used to when i was younger but I need to start again. No excuse not to. Say a few words, a joke or two then ask for the number. She either says yes or no (the no's feel way worse than just a word tho).

Yeah I do, it's fun as hell. I was with the same chick for 7 years and when we broke up I felt like I had wasted all this time with her so I hit the pavement to make up for it.

It's not rocket science to win over a girl you're trying to approach. Just make them laugh, converse with them as if they were a friend, and don't interrogate them with question after question. Keep it light. Be able to read her signals.

And you have to learn to deal with rejection, gotta get over that cuz it's gonna happen. And the only way is through repetition. But you miss 100% of shots you don't take.

I approach women frequently but as weird as it sounds, I don't do it to get women. I just do it as Rejection Therapy. I do it to get over my fear of rejection and to curb social anxiety. Just some personal self improvement exercise on my part.

Naturally you end up talking to and meeting lots of women as a result
