When was this magical time where Shelton fukkin Benjamin was ever over? I've never understood that talking point, and this is dated to when he was actually around. I can't think of one thing, one moment this dude had that would warrant a run. I couldn't tell you what the man's finisher was, let alone a match, promo that would lead to superstardom safe for being superkicked off a spring board against Shawn Michaels.

This goes the same for every comparable white wrestler that got a World title run in spite of a WWE title run because those runs, the Swaggers, the Zigglers, were all monumental flops and I would never wish that kind of run on the first full black wrestler. I would never wish a Benoit like run on the first black wrestler because "so and so" got it. I'd want them to kill it and trail blaze and show we can lead the company, not have place holder reigns where their title match opened the 1st or 2nd hour.

All that c00n talk for not supporting someone bland as Benjamin is nonsensez to get back at @R=G, who I very much would love to explain what Benjamin's credentials are to have a run to the extent that he can drone on about Rock and Guerrero and his other personal favorites. There is nothing about Benjamin, short of him being black, that speaks to why a run would have been appropriate. No stand alone argument outside of someone else equally bland got it, so it was he should have too.

I'm about to go finish up this bottle I expect answers in the morning.

My dude Tamara fukkin Michonoku was over in matches against Triple H. Situational response versus sustainable responses are two different things. Shelton being in a spot to get those responses by challenging the big heel and getting a response does not equal him being over outside of that vacuum and having crowd support beyond those interactions. I don't give a fukk about a pop after a match against a heel, I'm talking about long lasting responses. Was he getting responses with his mama at his side? Crowds today (ie - Daniel Bryan) show a push being stalled doesnt stop crowd support. If he was so over why did no one give a fukk about him outside the situation? Why weren't people clamoring for him afterward?

:russell: I love how people argue with false equivalencies and feel like they made a great point he was over afterwards but as wwe often does they jobed him out but I would expect nothing less from them:mjpls:

So expand on why he warranted a push rather than corny smileys and backhanded corny responses bruh. Shelton ducking Benjamin was over with the crowd and I'm making a false equivalency by saying his response was dictated solely on who he was going against. It maintained and people were looking at dude as next against opponents that were not hated like Triple H. Prove it. Why didn't it permeate beyond his opponents. Why wasn't he getting pops well after the fact when the crowd apparently chose him as next, even on a level like Zach Ryder. Explain it. Help me understand. I am more than open to hearing and being shown that I am wrong. Explain it.

Plenty of guys remain over because the crowd cares, regardless of being jobbed out or shyt gimmicks. Help me understand why Shelton Benjamin was not in that group. What have I missed. Help me understand. School me on what I am clearly missing. I'm willing and open to see and hear the responses that reflect as such. I'm not above being wrong in the slightest. I may be overlooking key shyt. Break it down for me.

If Sid could have been champ then I dont see why Ahmed Johnson couldnt, at least as a dominant heel for HBK to take down.
