50 Cent without a doubt

GRODT was played in the club, in the streets, in the suburbs

All tracks on the album got radio play

In the club and PIMP was a world wide hits

Everybody luvd 50 back then... The hoz at the club, the thugs in the hood, the white boys in the suburbs....

Neva seen a rap artist dominate the underground n the mainstream like 50 did that year

really

 @ the landslide for 50.....

Yall nikkas trippin...

While I DEFINITELY know 2003 was a CRAZY year for 50... I IMO, Waynes buzz in 2008 was RIGHT THERE with his Get rich buzz... It was right there with it...

So you take: Get Rich / Carter 3 .... They cancel each other out...

It's basically Beg 4 Mercy vs 20+++ Features all over the radio all year long...

I'mma go with Wayne in a courtsey vote:obama:

Also, pac dropping 2 historically renowned classics in 1996 that sold Diamond and 6 mil respectively aint getting enough love either...:pacspit::ufdup:

Eminem in 02 not even close. 30 million records sold between the 2 albums dropped that year and a movie that grossed a quarter billion dollars in 2002 currency...

No one else is even close

If you are talking solo career then every rapper u already mentioned is the correct answer....If u are talking overall....

93 was shared by Naughty By nature, Onyx, Cypress Hill, 2pac, Dre , Ice Cube with Wu tang at the end....So Snoop couldnt really dominate 93

Fugees was to strong for Pac to dominate 96 but his death did help

97 was a Bad Boy year..with No Limit and The Wu coming in 2nd place

98 was Lauryn Hills , DMX and Jay.

02 started off as a Rocafella Year and ended with Em

03 started with 50 and ended with Outkast

08 was all Lil wayne....TI was doing his thing but Lil Wayne dominated 08

The answer to the "overall" is Lil Wayne.

You know my initial gut reaction was 50 by a landslide. :ehh: but I honestly think you make a logical point here.

Might have to go with Wayne

I was there for Snoop Doggy Dogg coming off The Chronic to the release of Doggystyle so I pick that.
