Recognize and admit what the public actually wants. Go talk to the GOAT. Metal Gear as a series still has life in it even if the business behind the scenes went bad. They can do remasters on their own, but what they need to do at this point is make metal gear solid 6 a direct continuation to V and let us finally close that chapter properly.

Metal gear as a franchise is so Kojima coded I don’t know how you capture the essence of it without him and yoji Shinkawa leading the art direction.

I’d even go as far to say shinkawa is
More vital than Kojima is. The entire aesthetic appeal of the series is based on his direction.

Metal gear without the weird Japanese Kojima quirks and storytelling and off the wall designs is just like… splinter cell or siphon filter lol

The release of Delta just reminded me how much I love this series.

I watched the first 20 mins or so like I had never played the game before.

Then went back down the PW/GZ/MGSV rabbit hole lol.

There’s nothing in gaming quite like it. The mix of quirky anime fan service, convoluted story and characters, cinematic, spy thriller action, political and meta commentary and stealth action game play just scratches an itch that no other game seems to be able to hit.
