Polo G deserves it. Migos just make the same shyt over. They need to make their Bush album with Pharrell. Stir Fry is still their best song imo

Kinda odd how other genres have no problem still moving physical units. For rap it's like, 75-90% stream vs 10-25% physical.

It’s not really odd at all

Don't see how it's not.

Rap seems to be the only genre where fans don't care about owning a physical copy.

Age has nothing to do with it either, Olivia Rodrigo is younger than every rapper on the list and her demographic is mostly teens.

Yet she still moved far more physical copies than any rapper. Hell, Twice is 22-25 and damn near all their copies were physical.

So yeah....it's weird.

That’s mostly not physical but digital copies. And often they include posters or other merch, which is why kids want it.

Almost all pre-orders from very young kids parents for the merch. Just like Travis did like 250k “physical” due to merch.

That’s not physical it’s a digital copy.

No, it's not:

TWICE score first Billboard 200 top 10 entry with 'Taste Of Love'

TWICE’s ‘Taste of Love’ was the top-selling album of the past week, with 43,000 in traditional album sales, a majority of which were physical copies.

So....yeah. Pop group geared towards teenagers did damn near the entirety of their sales on physical. A rap group or solo artist would never do that in 2021.

It’s mostly digital sales when it comes to “pure sales” in this case it was merch + cd. I just did a quick Google.

You can read here about the photo cards, hologram whatever’s, posters and whatnot.

Also see my edit above regarding Travis Scott.

Pure sales is all sales (digital + physical).

Again, Twice did damn near 100% of their sales on physical alone. At like $20 an album.

Olivia Rodrigo broke like 6-7 streaming records, and moved more physical copies than any rapper on the list.

Rappers do not do physical numbers like other genres any more. I don't get how this is a debate.
