He was cold until TikTok saved him that was the only successful single

U don’t lose a significant % in sales projection mid week if the public is rocking with you or thinks your album is good

He was supposed to do more than 124K first week
He dropped that project too fast, these hoes will still listening to KIRK

Getting big enough that he should start expecting the lawyers from ralph to come knocking. He using the name and his merch is bootleg polo..

Don't wait for the innevitable lawsuit to pivot. Do it now

Ralph has been letting a lot of things slide over the past few years - Thirstin Howl and Rack Lo - particularly Rack - have whole merch lines that take directly from old Polo designs.

Damn near RL's whole run of retros was based on the pieces that those guys and Rae got popping. They even remade bootleg items like the silk scarf shirts. And that's before you talk about the cats like Rohe.

I'd honestly be surprised if they didn't know about Polo G already and I'd be even more surprised if they did him anything.

Uzi don’t rap about shyt

Polo>> :russell:
lol I should’ve been more specific, I was speaking sales-wise/impact

I’d always would say Drake, Kendrick, and Kanye were A tier, then B tier would be like Future/Meek/Nicki, C tier would be someone like Big Sean

and yeah Polo has better content in his music but Idk what it is about his voice/flow but I can’t listen to an whole album from him. I ain’t even know about him until I saw he sold 100k and decided to check out his album, now a #1 song. I’m shocked he is doing more numbers than Durk

Him being 8 years younger than Durk helps

He already sold that much.

Polo is or is affiliated with BD’s also.

His ceiling is defining street/conscious rapper for the Gen Z generation. He can spit and harmonize and he has content his only issue is weak production and he can be a lil preachy/melodramatic at times.

This song shooting up all the way to number one is the industry pushing the button. Columbia is doing their thing with Polo G, Lil Nas X, and Lil Tjay.
Polo is either a vice lord or a Mickey cobra.
But yeah he seems to be cool with a lot of otf guys

This.

There's been like 8 #1 hits so far this year and we're barely into 4 months. Not to mention the whole Nicki/69 thing exposed how fake these numbers are.

Fred.

Word.

I want to know a factual breakdown of why.

Ever since streaming hit things got weird.

Michael Jackson, The Beatles, Prince, Nirvana had millions of people taking time to go to store and purchase music.

They stayed on charts for long.

Now people catch #1s fast. 50 Cent even said how if you sell 1000 copies you'll be number one for a bit, then drop off.

The measuring system seems off. Billboard takes sales and "popularity" into account. But when scandals hit billboard - from the 69 to Khaled not earning number one after his work - it seems off. Khaled proved what he sold....they sell packages/bundles....they then reversed their position and gave him #1. Which I thought was an incredible move! And Hip Hop did that even though he was up against other hip hop artists.

Would you put him and Uzi on the same level?
I wanna make a thread on whose the A, B, C level rappers for the new generation but I’m too lazy
Hell naw. Uzi could sellout and headline a major tour. He’s not even Carti level.

He’s G Herbo peer IMO.
