Is that not coaching? Spo changed the Heat's lineup and Pop countered.

Manu was struggling as the 1st option on the 2nd unit so he moved him to the first unit where he can play more so in the flow of the offense as opposed to having to create for the 2nd unit. Is that not a coaching decision?

Manu being in the 2nd unit means he's getting chased around by speedy Norris Cole. In the 1st unit, neither Wade or the newly inserted Miller are gonna chase him around. Is that not coaching?

It's like saying Bron only played better because he had 4 shooters around him opening up the floor but not giving Spo any credit for putting that lineup on the floor.

Last year we saw Spo go small and Brooks fukked it up by playing Perkins so many minutes when he was absolutely useless on both sides of the floor.

Spo made a move and Pops countered by putting Manu in the starting 5.

So Pop deserves the credit for winning game 5:stopitslime:
Look at how dumbass Scott Brooks coached against the Heat and look at Pop.

:dafukk: Brooks is not coaching the same team as Pop.

Brooks beat the great Pop last year 4 straight games.

He could have easily inserted Gary Neal, who was playing better than Ginobilli up to that point. Except he had confidence in Manu to back back, Pop is a great coach...

Birdman didnt play game 4 and nobody noticed nor cared.

You're wrong about Mike Miller

They put him in the lineup because the Heats best lineup is with only 1 big on the court.

The decision was about whether to play Battier or Miller and that was based on how the 2 had been playing as of late

Breh, the Spurs saw the lane was split like the Red Sea when Spo set up a line- up with no Center. That is when Parker and Ginoboli went off on Cole in the paint knowing there wasn't any shot blocker who was going to alter their shots. This is when people noticed Anderson could have made a difference in Game 5.

:beli: The Heat were 39-3 after they got Birdman. I'd say he matters. And on top of that he's shooting like 80% from the field. I'd say he matters.

:why: Yeah Birdman playing all of 14 MPG was a huge factor in them going 39-3

When people start threads like this and then people come in and co-sign it, it just shows the overall lack of basketball knowledge most people watching the game have.

People only look at what star players do for the most part and not WHY or HOW they got into the position to do or not do somthing.

This goes for every sport though.
