People have been trying to link John Collins to San Antonio for months now, so that aspect isn't the surprising. Collins for Murray makes no sense though whatsoever considering that Collins struggles to create his own shot and San Antonio could get a way better package in return.

I haven’t seen Murray requesting a trade.
I’ve seen that apparently Spurs GM Brian Wright said the Spurs plan on drafting the best available players regardless of position.
So that leads some people to think SAS might take yet another guard in this draft.
There was a tweet where someone confirmed that trade interest between the Hawks and Spurs was real but that a trade was not imminent.
Lots of drama. Who knows what to believe.

I def think the Spurs are up to something. The DJ trade talks make no sense because having Collins and no DJ is just dumb. Collins isn't a shot creator but pairing him with DJ would be perfect. DJ and Trae makes no sense at all either. We've built around DJ post Kawhitter so letting him go just tells me we're going through a complete rebuild. So with all the misdirection there has to be some motive there.
