The only silver lining i've been thinking of if DeMar stays is that when healthy that lineup of DJ, Derrick, Keldon, DeMar, and Jakob was really really good when they were on the floor

I like the McDermott signing, meh on the Zach Collins signing

He'll hit more 3's in those 28 than Demar did in 2 years though

If I’m lookin at the latest numbers right, SA still has just about enough cap space to offer J Collins the max.

Reserving full judgment on the current FA pickups until we get a timeline on Collins' recovery. My guess is best case scenario return would be right after the All-Star break (approximately 8 months post-surgery). McDermott could mesh well with the drive and kick game we should be running. DeRozan still unsigned is a good thing for us. I don't see him returning, and I don't see him signing for a MLE elsewhere, so I think we'll find a way to get some assets out of this.

I really want to see Josh Primo get minutes early in his career.

Popovich will likely stand in the way of that and I think he should retire.

I am sick of watching talent languish on the bench only for seasoned veterans to drive the franchise to a mediocre season.

Interesting that there are 0 veterans signed on so far. Everyone are 6 year men and younger.

Backup PG spot is looking thin unless they think tre and Lonnie can hold it down there but I wouldn't be shocked if patty comes back for cheap

It'll be easier to stomach if he's losing out on minutes to Lonnie and Vassell. Tre Jones shouldn't be getting the automatic minutes just because he put in a year of service already. The only seasoned vets we have currently are White, Murray and now McDermott.
