Big Tymers weren't that big. Women/Mainstream media wasn't paying attention to them.
Makes sense. I was surprised to see the 2 big singles ('Get Ya Roll On" & "#1 Stunna") from the 2000 Big Tymers album didn't even chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Not only that, they didn't even make the top 20 of the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

So I gotta assume they were only regional hits.

All time personal favorite.

It sounds like Manny Fresh wrote most of it. He has a hilarious side to his lyrics
Is it safe to say this song has the most quotable Birdman lines of any Cash Money song ever? I been bumping da fucc outta this track the last couple weeks or so & I be rapping aloud in the car to the Birdman solo verse & the Big Tymers combo 3rd verse, LOL.

This is why rappers need to get back to making clean versions of their songs, cause often times those versions are better than the actual album versions. I just don’t know how that’s possible in today’s landscape though with how albums are dropped out of nowhere, and whichever song gets the most streams, that’s considered the single.

It wasn’t long ago being a pimp, ie what people today would call a trafficker, was seen as something humorous and dope :mjlol:

This or what happened to that boy.

Boss of the ghetto with the round shaped cookie.

I still have no idea what that's about.

edit... wrong song

Yeah it was serious with them lol

nikka said stay in line or I'll whip you out your clothes :mjlol:

This reminds me of the thread the other day talking bout Stunna ruining songs…nope, he has some of my favorite verses on tracks, these are classic examples …but Cash Money came out at the right time, cause they would’ve been cooked in this era…Baby used to just casually confess to all manner of drug conspiracy and contract murders on wax …he was on his AR AB shyt just plainly stating shyt

“See, I move all my coke exclusively uptown…no disrespect, i don’t distribute cocaine downtown”

“I fronted LT, Stone and Gangsta a kilo of coke each in furtherance of our ongoing narcotic enterprise based in the Magnolia Projects and surrounding areas of uptown New Orleans :birdman:

Now Gangsta and all these other dudes outta prison making a living by detailing this shyt in minute detail on podcasts :mjlol:
