Mate...i was there I already said that twice...i know he had uk man performing on stage with him...i just was completely baffed about wiz being able to find ice kid (we came to the resolution it was probs dot rotten cos dot rotten still works with ice kid sometimes) cos 95% of the grime scene didn't even know where he was
Did they show everything on the feed?...wiz sounded ALRIGHT spitting on grime unohad me and my bwoy shocked as fucc
It's quite hilarious how naive Americans are to anything that isn't american cultureIt's not real beef, all part of the art of clashing
Yeah I was depressed on one of UKG's rounds where they were going off with the garage and the crowd had no clue about the levels they were displayingThe Stormzy dub he done actually sounded cold, nailed the flow and everything.
Ice kid was a nice surprise but his mic levels were shyt and he was spitting off beat.
Sneakbo's lil PA >>>>
I don't ever want to hear any badman talk from Fekky from now on, Popcaan told him to suck his mum in front of 20,000 people and he basically tried to laugh it off. Garuntee if that was another UK artist he would have tried to take it beyond music.
Eskimo Dance were terrible apart from the B Live dub. Mixpak deserved it overall.
The event is stupid though, Red Bulls target audience are 16-18 year olds, everything being said was just going over their heads. The lack of reaction on certain things was actually frustrating lol
....did WIZ know it was a soundclash, though?
Nah but.....never been to one but always saw documentaries about them. Would love to experience one. It looks live.
Tbh red bull culture clash isn't a regular sound clash...its got a very unusual structure to it, which is its selling point to us. It wouldn't be a good "this is my first time going to a clash" type of experience if you get what I mean. You'd walk away with a very warped perspective on soundclashes.....did WIZ know it was a soundclash, though?

Yeah Wiz knew he had dubs on deck my....did WIZ know it was a soundclash, though?

@District Line
At the end when mix pak got the the trophy and popcaan got the audience to yell bumbaclarrt repeatedly i had one white chick behind me yelling "what does bumbaclarrt mean?!can someoneone tell me what bumbaclarrt means?!
"
And i wasat the deadness of the situation and the
expression all the black people that were within earshot of her had whilst just ignoring her....until i overheard her say
"So do you think it'd be kool if the next time i go into my newsagents tomorrow i call everyone a bumbaclarrt" and i immefiately
And turned around her and explained what it meant and she was like "thankyouso i shouldn't say it to anyone?
" And i was just like "
look, i'm trying to save you from getting slapped up
"
That story basically emphasises your point and the general person that comes to these soundclashes...its a very mainstream 'urban/oceana/notting hill carnival raving' type lf crowd with small pockets of real uk underground music listeners depending on what soundsystem teams are playing that year
Yeah Wiz knew he had dubs on deck my
Unlike ASAP mob last time who clearly thought this was a summer jam.
UK is the corniest. I looked up David Rodigan and this CAC popped upDavid Rodigan ENDED Asap last time, guy was talking that SMACK![]()
