These trades never tip the balance.

Just something to be fake excited about during the regular season

Phoenix isn't really rebuilding, they just don't have a legit big. Devin Booker, T.J. Warren and Eric Bledsoe is as good as a young backcourt as there is in the NBA.

Denver needs a legit player to go with Gallo.

These two teams are a top 25 player away from being MUCH better than they are right now.

I see cats sleeping in a team like Detroit trying to make this move. The best spot for him would be the Raptors we know Danny will low ball the Hawks that's his mo. And a team like the Nuggets would honestly make a deal in order to consolidate talent.

1.Raptors- Cujo/Patterson/Poetl/Clips 1st or raps 1st

2.Nuggets- Faried/Barton/Nurkic for Milsap/Splitter

3.Pistons- Tobias Harris/S Johnson/ lotto protected 2017 1st for Milsap

Seems like a lot to give up for a guy that's definitely gonna test free agency

I don't see why the Pistons would make this deal. Millsap would be a great addition to the team but not for what they'd be offering in your trade. That would be an "all-in" type of trade for them and they sacrifice their future by dishing out HARRIS, Johnson and a 1st pick in a loaded draft. All for 'Sap; who is 32 and a free agent after the season. There are better players for the Pistons to go all-in.

They don't seem to be fukking with Johnson like that and Milsap would be a good fit and an upgrade over Barris and Stan Van is a GM/Coach he may want a player like Milsap on his team especially considering he thinks it in the best interest of the team to bring Harris off the bench.

Did depends are if the Hawks are willing to pay gay

I don't see why they would trade Milsap if they were just going to pay Gay...They are both 30+ and will want over 20+ a year.

That was my point. That deal only works if they would pay gay his money.

They most likely want long term deals back and draft picks. They will know they are not getting a super high first or great players

Spitballing here:

Utah would have to trade Favors or Lyles to do it. Millsap clearly didn't mind Utah but I think Utah would pursue depth as opposed to another starter.

Phoenix has the pieces, but I don't know if they pull the trigger. Probably something like Len /either Chriss or Bender /Knight for him

Orlando I don't see unless they're sure they could keep Millsap over Ibaka. I actually see Ibaka as someone in play for Atlanta assuming he doesn't re-up in Orlando.

No for Washington

Boston has the pieces, but not sure about the fit.

Sacramento: Gay/Cauley-Stein/Skal might get it done. You could put in Afflalo instead of Gay but then Atlanta has every right to ask for a future first.

No on Milwaukee

No on OKC

No on the Lakers

Utah has stated over the summer to have interest when he was on the market which is why I posted that.

They have other pieces other than just Bender but it will take one of Bender or Chriss for Atlanta. Always has. This is pretty much a no brainer for me on any Sap deal, if it don't make sense, don't trade him.

:mjlol: Yall need to stop talking about the Suns. Chriss and Bender are basically untouchable, everyone in Phoenix is on board with the long term REBUILDING plan, we're tied for worst in the West which means in a few months we'll be adding another marquee player to the youngest core in the league, that will hopefully turn into something formidable by the time the new arena goes up in 3-5 years.

I like Millsap but he does literally nothing positive for us. We wouldnt give up a 2nd rounder for him.
