It would be really dumb to hold his return past the 1st segment. Batista or La Nariz will probably start RAW and get crazy heat, and that's great. But past that, there's no reason to give the crowd a chance to highjack other programs. Give them what they want early and give your roster a chance to build their feuds without a pissed off crowd.

I disagree. I think bringing Punk back in the very first segment would be corny. Let the crowd boo and get riled up. Who cares? They already paid to be there. The pop when he comes back will be epic, and the best way to delivery it on max is to do it later on rather than as soon as it starts. As for them ruining programs - they have Smackdown and 4 more weeks to build. It ain't that serious IMO.

The best way to do it would be to have Batista and Orton out there talking shyt together, and then cue Punk's music to jump in.

I would save Punk for the final segment. Have them open the show with CM Punks chant, have his music hit, insane pop, out walks HHH. HHH gets nuclear heat, have him acknowledge the chants and say sorry he isn't coming out he took his ball and went home. Than proceed to his promo about whatever. For some reason, probably just wishful thinking, I think a moment like that would take the wind out of the CM Punk chants for the rest of the night. Final segment have something going on with Kane, HHH, and Dbry... Punks music hits HHH and Kane are shocked, they face the titantron, do they still call it that, thats besids the point, punk comes out from the crowd, crowd goes insane, and he hits the GTS on Kane and leave HHH for Dbry.

And if he doesn't show up, play his music and have Bad News Barrett come out and finally get him some real heat.
