I feel verb prolly edged it but he wasnt very good in that battle. nikkas was sayin verb may have really lost it after that battle. That how high shyt was the worst.

He WOULDA lost against Hitman but that third verse SAVED HIM.
I swear there has never been another battle rapper that has so many pleas copped for him. When he loses in NY its "but but but they just be hating in NY". When he went to grindtime and got washed it's "but but but Grindtime Nikkas just be havin Jokes Verb was spitting that fire". I get why why a lot of dudes like him he was the first battle rapper to relentlessly shyt on NYC and that gained him a lot of fans, he also has an entertaining personality. But that doesn't excuse all the choke jobs and times dude has half assed in battles. I can post anybodies best of and make them look good. But a top 5 battler don't look the way he looked against Rex, Clipse, and X-factor.

Even tho I think he clearly beat hollow, this kind of explains ho I feel about verb at times. nikkas give verb ALL the excuses in the world. He gets completely washed by clips but "the crowd was hatin". Verb was TERRIBLE. Loses clearly to Rex buuuuuut "the crowd was hatin". He had a cool 1st round then 2 wack rounds. His 3rd was totally terrible imo. Trying to reuse the big gerald shyt where it didn't fit at all, just corny. nikkas overlook that and blame everything but him. Ny don't like him but even takin the crowd out he's just bad in NY. I also think he loss to marv, big will was debatable lookin back on it even tho I hated the way verb rapped. Verb clearly thought he lost since he tried to make sure no one ever saw it.
But at the same time, he was GREAT vs hollow. GREAT vs Cor, GREAT vs Hitman and a couple other notable battles. He's probably the most inconsistent Top tier. Beats hitman with one of his best performances then gets 3-0'd by X factor

You right....the Hollow battle is def debatable.....
When Verb is on his shyt he can be a monster..he just chokes to damn much for Nikkas to be actin like he's on this untouchable level. Someone like Lux would eat him IMO.
And yeah those three battles the Clipse, X-factor, and T-Rex battles are the ones that REALLY make me look at him sideways.
