I understand that line of thinking Funny you mention Somalis cause I've always thought of them as more "arab" than other east Africans.

I believe that the og Arabs came from east Africa thousands of years ago. Those Arab-Africans mixed with other non African types and they've been getting lighter and lighter ever since. You can still find Black/African Arabs in southern Arabia.. but similar to Egypt and Israel, they wont be recognized as the direct descendants of the original peoples that inhabited the land
