The miseducation of Lauryn hill as well as Lauryn hill as an artist is overrated as fukk. Don't get why people are putting her on a pedestal like that and especially that album. Not saying she's wack but she been getting a pass for 20 years with that solo that's not even all that. That album actually is wack.

Neither one of them have nonsensical rhymes.

People are being encouraged to downplay the art of RAP in favor for "Musicianship" which leads to what? Record labels being able to plug and play whatever artist they want to spearhead whatever project they put together and real live ass rappers get moved out of the market and the next generations of "Hip Hop" heads are further encouraged to take a backseat to production and "music" that's for sale rather than getting people to listen to what's really on their minds.

I agree with you but Kendrick has a number of largely nonsensical verses, his Control verse being one of them.

Atlanta rappers/producers is low key swagger jackers of other regions and hip hop would be in a better place if anyone from there minus outkast never started rapping.:manny:
I'd add Luda and a few other names like Killer Mike and T.I. as ATL ogs there's probably more I haven't listed.

But I hate how the whole south gets blamed when it was really an Atlanta problem... Houston always been dope as hell. Now Chi town with it's savage movement is fighting ATL for the title who can output the wackest rappers.

Drake is the #1 worst rapper of all time, he's a closet homosexual, all his music is weak and corny, his whole image is fabricated, his voice is unbearable, his entire career is the epitome of "Fake it till you make it" and him being so popular just proves hip-hop has degraded to the point that it's become a joke.

I been said this though:yeshrug:
this won't get you negged just repped

A lot of southern rappers and all drill rappers are trash. Jeezy is overrated. I can't listen to Too short or E 40 for more than 3 mins.

Outside of the club and in your car I don't understand how you can listen to trap music everyday

The rattle of compressed 808s blasting out of 4 15s is therapeutic for our collective pain and suffering

Really though who listens to trap without a good system :scust:

Jadakiss ain't no legend and is a glorified feature rapper.

ODB ain't no legend and was nothing more than a hypemen. He couldn't spit a hot rhyme if his life for nothing.

DJ Premier is by far the most bland and basic producer ever.

Being that he was a C.O., Rick Ross could never be a hip hop legend.

Too Short and E-40 are more influential than all 90's NY rappers.

Nas is not the best rapper from out of Queensbridge. He might have the best catalogue but not the best lyrically which, would be Tragedy.

DMX music is garbage hype music and the only reason he got off was because NY needed something new and gangsta after the badboy reign.
