Anime, video games, hip-hop, and Saturday morning cartoons peaked in the 90s.

For movies...
Blockbuster movies and popcorn flicks peaked in the 80s, but the 70s and 90s were better for serious cinema.

Comic books definitely peaked in the 80s.

The Dark Knight Returns >>>
Dark Phoenix Saga, Days of Future Past >>>
Frank Miller Daredevil >>>

The 70s through the early 80s were the best time ever for music.
Earth Wind and Fire, Donny Hathaway, Chaka Khan, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Zapp and Roger, the Isley Brothers, and Prince :ahh:

The silver lining for living in today is that we have the internet, so we can relive those eras anytime we want :mjcry:

Just off the strength of Google maps, I absolutely don’t care to be back in the 90s. You know how difficult it was to get directions if you ain’t got a gps? I remember my cousin taking me to a house party with him on his bike in nyc when I was a jit. That ride was crazy we ran into all types of shyt

I've read numerous posts like this on the Coli saying that the 80s & 90s were over glorified and that today is way better.:patrice::comeon::hhh:

The 80s was very violent, so I can understand that

But here's my thing, nikkas today are complaining about everything. High rent, high gas, high car payments, high food.

The 90s - 2003 will always be the GOAT years strictly on cost of living. If you made $35,000 in 2001 you was GOOD.:wow: We not even talking about this sorry as social media, microwaved movies & music, and camera phones everywhere.

I disagree with that…. I think it depended on where you lived but overall it wasn’t as violent as it is now.

Back then, niccas was more warriors….. if something was to escalate….. niccas would be more apt jump you.

Now adays they’ll shoot you, no one wants to squabble.

I was a teen in the 90s old enough to do shyt. So I remember how great that was!!
