And that's why Chris will never be a good EP. Mike and Witty would've told Dan this was a bad idea. Chris just rolls with the punches, afraid to step on anyone's shoes.
No chance Chris thought of this idea, he just went along with it.

Either way, the audience has pretty much universally panned this and I hope Dan man’s up and apologizes, but I wholly expect doubling down and some round about “you don’t get the nuance/the show/you’re too sensitive to see the point” ass excuses

As Dan himself was the only one to tease on the show that they were going to do this, this was 100% Dan's bit that no one bucked against and fell completely flat.

being that it's LeBatard, if it was him...he'd make it explicitly clear it was him.
but also being that it's LeBatard, if it was one of the og crew's idea, he'd probably take accountability on their behalf (as he should) so they don't get totally crushed...post-Lebatard might be looking shaky as it is
I legit don't think it was Dan's idea.......which would make Dominique's old trope of Dan couldn't let somebody like Dominique be in charge forreal, cause he'd be cutting & demoting cats left and right
