I never saw a bite 'cause they didn't sound nothin alike...Doitall and Funkee didn't sound like Skoob and Drayz... and Marley Marl's production and Solid Scheme?? Like Ed Lover says c'mon son :pachaha:

I never saw it as biting either... it was a misunderstanding between sewer and underground where people started making it into a beef..

And then on funky child funke says
We dropped psycho and everbody thought we was DAS
It didn’t Effect me,
I said "So what?" I kept on writing rhymes
I keep my funky style perfected so no one can stop my flow
I fear no man, cause if it's on fool, then it's on (And it's on)
Don't worry not for other crews selling out
As long as Lords of the Underground stay underground

..... and people also thought check it was an answer to mic checka

Cash Money and No Limit was throwing alot of subliminal shots from 99-01. Especially on Guerilla Warfare..

"I feel we takin ova the industry fa sho
I feel these biting wannabe Souljas already know"

And of course one of the slickest diss tracks of all time..

Alot of it had to do with P blatantly riding CMRs wave when they blew up, it reached the boiling point when No Limit came out with the Hot Boyz movie :mjlol:

No Limit had a couple of low key tracks like Magics "Ice On My Wrist" and 504 Boyz He Did That. C Murder also threw some shots on Trapped in Crime.

The beef never really reached its full potential, cause if it did, shyt woulda got ugly outside the booth :whoa:

Outkast vs. Ghetto Mafia

"We stole big boi car..got our strip on..got the music.the rims and the cell phone! "
...but my understanding is that when they were confronted about that, they backtracked and said it wasn't the Big Boi from OutKast they were talmbout. I always wondered about that.....

That's my JOINT, though, particularly the remix:

"Oooh-ahh....Ghetto MA.....FII-YAHHHHHH....."

I just played that yesterday.

How about the Jay-Z vs. LL beef? They traded well-known subs for awhile, but it never went further.

But they STILL don't like each other. Somebody find that picture of LL throwing the look of death at Jay-Z during the BET Awards some years back. :pachaha:

A full-out lyrical battle between THOSE two, though? Would have been EPIC.
:wow:

I remember hearin that Ren had somethin for No Vaseline but really before that the writing was on the wall for N.W.A. ...Ren vs Cube woulda been vicious tho

Ren wanted NOTHING to do with Cube lyrically....not when they were both in their primes. Cube would have shat all over Ren, and I rocks with Ren heavy. But he didn't want it with O'Shea...after all, Cube still remembers when Ren drove a B-210. :mjlol:

P & Juvie, BG and a lot of the other cats said wasn't really a beef like people thought...Gizzle said that when he left Cash Money he kept getting all kinda calls from everybody including dudes from NL wanting him on they tracks, but all because of Baby's bullshyt bout "Nah we don't do songs wit other nikkas" they couldn't make it happen smh
