Starz knows at this point that the Power universe is the only thing they really have going for it. But it's time they find another lane cause we don't need two more spinoffs now. I can see the Origins one I suppose but this Tommy/Tariq thing seems like only a 1 or 2 season thing potentially.

Tbh, the original hook of the show was so simple but intriguing: peak of his powers drug kingpin in a lifeless marriage wants to leave it all behind to make an honest living with his childhood sweetheart. Add in the backdrop of big city nightlife at a time (2014) where clubbing was still a thing/hadn't fully fizzled out, and it was lightning in a bottle.
But that type of premise has a shelf life. At some point the MC's story arc needs to reach it's logical conclusion: either he gets the happy ending or it's over for him. And at that point, does what's left of the show just turn into typical drug dealing/war on the streets song n dance
Yea they killed the happy ending by killing Angela. I think the showrunner lowkey may have hated the actor for Ghost. She packed the show with bad actors which brought the quality down....

So basically they are merging Book 2 and force into 1 show. That means almost no one is surviving the last season of Force.

In my mind i figured they were going to write Ghost out the show soon if not end the series
But then i heard he also got killed off but not necessarily for reasons that made sense/brought closure but bc like you mentioned the showrunner was allegedly beefin with him
