Oh, and both Melo and Rondo have talked about wanting to work with Cade in the summer. I would honestly love for something like that to happen. Rondo for breaking down and managing the game from the PG position, and Melo to add some wrinkles to his offensive game. I'm noticing vets from all generations seem to like and respect Cade's game, all except Dave Bing:lolbron:

It be less pressure on Cade if Ivey is back next year. He can hit clutch shots. Hopefully Stewart is gone and we can get a solid back 4.

Stew is the best rim protector in the league and he guards all switch’s. They need him.
If you go against Indiana for example, you need somebody with size that can at least body Miles Turner. When he goes against these big men, he's not effective.

Nobody can stop Jokic obviously. But I've seen teams with other big that can slow him down somewhat in the playoffs (Minnosota, Lakers with Dwight). We need a solid big man. Not asking for a superstar.

So you want a backup 4 that is equal to Dwight Howard and Rudy Robert. :dahell:

Do you know how valuable it is to have a big that can keep guards in front of him on the switch and close out on the jump shot. And he can hit 3’s.

Glad the city got a couple home playoff games to get that feeling back. A little ahead of schedule. Can’t take next season for granted need to get better. Will be nice to have JI and Stew back healthy.

Again, not asking for all stars. Just a solid back up with size. Isiah Stewart can easily turn into Isiah Stupid and cost us games. Heck, I could easily seeing him getting tossed one game in this series.
Especially with Katt trying to be tough. It's not worth it. And I think we need to change direction.

I get the solid stuff he does as you pointed out. I just don't trust him to keep it together mentally.

Miles Turner's issue is that he can fukking shoot, not so much that he's just big. That's a big reason why they create so many problems for teams. Stewart is valuable against them. It's Duren that's the liability, as he always gets caught leaking out peaking or the paint when he should be keeping his eyes on the big with range that he's guarding. He's been doing that shyt all season and Kat got him damn near anytime he was on him on the perimeter. Duren don't gotta have a knockdown jumper. If he just lock himself in a room with defensive film and get a better understanding of defensive awareness he'll be just fine. He did get better as the season went on though.

No one thought they would be this good this year. Best expectation was Play-in
So successful season overall

But they need to get Cade a side kick. OG and the blitzing gave him too much trouble. Still not sure what Ivey ceiling is. He can play next to Cade buts he’s still not the ideal fit. Booker is the pipedream

Duren increased his trade value this postseason. Id package him and Holland for better starter at C or PF. Markanan would be perfect fit more realistic than Zion. Or maybe go after Myles Turner in FA because I don’t think pacers can afford to keep him

Detroit should be very proud of their team. They were nowhere near the playoffs picture last year, and this year they made it to the series and were really close to actually making it to 2nd round. The experience comes with time in those clutch situations.

Plus the east has so many wack teams, I expect them to be in the playoffs next year. JB probably not the best choice for coaching but whatever...could be much worse. Getting a win now player like Miles Turner would be huge. I thought the veterans they signed were pretty good who helped them get to playoffs and stay in the series, but yeah....need a bit of upgrade if possible.

What’s yall cap situation looking like? I heard they gotta pay Beasley(because he on a player option) and they got to make a decision on Duren. Definitely need a rim protector. Need to bring the hometown kid home from the Suns.
