Why wouldn’t he then go to the Spurs? They have pick 2 and 14 in this draft and don’t need them. They have Fox, Paul, Wemby, Castle. It’s a better situation minus the fact they’re in the west. They’d probably have to give up Castle at least but still.
Nah with the Celtics out the equation with for next season Gianni’s and Cade is the best 1-2 punch in the east without question. Give them some support and the Pistons can easily contend inthe East for a finals appearance. . If I’m Detroit I’d offer whoever outside of Cade to get Giannis. Sign room Lopez. I say Lopez because Giannis doesn’t work well with traditional bigs so that works in y’all favor. Bruce you can throw Duren in their as a piece

Duren , Ivey, Tobias Harris and Holland with draft picks

for

Giannis and Aj Green. Sign a stretch 5. Brook Lopez is a free agent I believe.

Lopez
Giannis
Thompson
Hardaway
Cade

With Beasley, Stewart, Sasser and AJ Greenoff the bench is a finals appearance.

That’s elite defense with a front court of Thompson Lopez and Giannis

If yall gm isn’t blowing up Milwaukee 24/7 he’s a fool. The eat is wide open next year with Tatums injury.

Only issue is Milwaukee might bait in swapping out one of them younger guys for Thompson

Well it’s not up to him where he goes for one. And if I’m the bucks i need the best collection of players i can get or i need to get my own picks back if it’s tank time. The bucks could value the pistons young players over the spurs.

He's going to have a level of say in where he goes. They aren't going to disrespect him like that. It seems like the Thunder, Spurs, and Rockets could all easily outbid the Pistons on him with the assets they have stockpiled. The Rockets easily because they have Amen Thompson to dangle as well if push came to shove but the Pistons likely wouldn't give up Ausar.

This ain't the Lions where they've developed this seeming top of the league winning culture in the last few seasons and people would beat down the door to get in. Granted they have Cunningham but this is a maybe upper mid-pack team in a less than desirable market. Seems like it would take a miracle to get a player like that in a trade.
