Three full days of deliberations, there's a few different scenarios, but take the R. Kelly trial for example, the one in Brooklyn, think the jury was out for like a day or half day, and that was a six week trial.

This was a 4 week trial? and the jury has been in there for three full days. Could be mixed verdict, could be trying to convince a holdout. Could just be trying to work through the charges, but it's likely the jury doesn't see it as a clean cut guilty.

Money that's why

Why he chose to use David Kenner, I can only guess. Someone else could have mitigated this to a reasonable outcome. This was a bad defense, and a bad move to go to trial. Reminds me of Lanez.
What were they offering if he would've took a deal?

his is a classic case of not understanding something and reading tweets and social media,

It's just an idiotic take. Social media's tendency to reduce everything to simple statements.

Pras was involved in a long running scheme from 2012 to 2017, according to prosecutors, to influence US elections, obstruct justice, influence US foreign policy towards China,

the simple version is he took A LOT of money from Jho Low, a Malysian national, who embezzled billions from a state run hedge fund, when Low was indicted, and on the run, in China, he gave millions to Pras to try and influence Justice Department officials to drop the case or back off or whatever-----

When Pras got on the stand, he claimed that he, contrary to the prosecutors narrative actually was trying to help the FBI, during this time, 2017, about the Chinese governments attempt to influence US policy regarding Low.

He wasn't some kind of confidential informant, in 1996, he's saying in this specific instance I helped the FBI, when they interviewed him, whether it's true or not, I don't know, but it's apart of his defense. Also, in a case involving national security, it's not like he was informing on illegal gambling or drug trafficking or whatever Kyrie is implying. He's saying I told the FBI I sat down with Chinese assets to help the FBI, I wasn't helping the Chinese.

Yeah I ain't know all the details but this is a perfect synopsis

I’ve watched a few of his interviews and dude has always given me “smart dumb” nikka energy and this confirms it:

In 2019, Pras was indicted on four criminal counts for his illegal contributions. However, prosecutors offered him a plea deal that would not only see the charges go away, but would also lead to the government returning some of the $74 million that had been seized from his four bank accounts.

@zayk35

yeah, as noted above they were offering an easy deal. They just wanted the conviction, that would have been a no time served guilty plea. Forfeiture, no fine, no time, move on with your life.

Again, like Lanez, these guys are so delusional, arrogant, idealogical that they veer into self destruction. They are so used to a certain way life has always worked for them, that they feel like THEY CANT DO THIS TO ME. I'M PRAS.

Not saying he's not a nice guy, whatever, but even when he got on the stand, he barely offered any contrition, just said, "yeah that's the way it goes, people give me free money (Tens of millions of dollars) to do what I want with"

how does that play to a jury of working people?

I knew he was probably guilty when I saw him say in an interview that Lauryn couldn't be moved by money...

I guess he could

Prosecutors are going to ask for like 60 months minimum, maybe 120 months. Maybe even 180. They are going to say he has a clean record, but refused to accept responsibility, we need to send a message that our National Security and elections are sacred, and money cannot buy influence in DC (lol)

He crashed out.

Yeah it sounds like he was questioned/interrogated by the FBI and tried to pass it off like he was working with the Feds :heh:

You brought up Pras' arrogance and delusion but what the hell was this guy Low thinking, he must've been coked out of his mind to believe Pras had the pull of a high level diplomat :mindblown:
