It has nothing to do with age..dudes like lux are the same age ..it’s just a different game these days...none of them could make a good song to save their lives, but the majority of them are high quality writers and/or performers

he never evolved his battling style...the pens some of these guys have is insane..people like daylyt..and the stage performance people like tay roc have is way too overshadowing for cassidys played out bars

Most of these battle rappers today have a trash pen, and their 2-bar punch style is weak. Then they try to bring it back, like it was some profound ish. I understood it, it was trash. These dudes, much like today's hip-hop all sound the same. They took Tech 9's conversation style, Mook's witty personals, and Philly's (mainly Reed's) aggressiveness. All of their originality is gone.

It's more about the performance, which I will agree Cass is lacking. Most people didn't even catch his whole body 3rd round.
