shyt when I was working in Best Buy I was eating under the table and over the table .Sadly that shyt is draining and would rather go back to the tech field if I need to scratch the itch. I learned my lesson when I fixed the entire computer lab for this homeless shelter and all I got was a fist bump and a higher up telling me that I can't bring my 10 year old son with me, despite him having his own shyt

My wife worked for "VIP Kid". And the position she was going to go for was pretty much the same thing, but in face. It was all English teaching. We downsized and threw away money, security, and stability. But it was never enough for the issues at hand. Because of this weird international pissing contest, they stopped working with VIP Kid:



and they cancelled the contract without telling US!

My wife had to call the place only to find out that they let the recruiter go, and told us that they randomly cancelled the contract. All of that hardwork and dedication pissed away because Covid and bullshyt.

Edit, because I don’t want to add more posts and take away from @Universal Koala message. I saw this site/community love myself, firsthand, when my wife almost died, and the outpouring of love, prayers, well wishes. Folk still to this day check in, that’s more than most lifelong friends/family do. I don’t give not 1 fukk what anyone says about folks on here from the outside, the majority of people on this site are God blessed, and I teared up 3/4 down the first page of this thread. U K, you gonna be good, you have most everything you need right now, just being with your wife and child, and your fortunes will reverse, stay up, and be strong for ur wife and boy!

I know the feel. I'm super sorry to hear, OP. I truly believe this has been the worst year of my life and I've spoken to many who have had the same horrid year as well. A lot of unfortunate is just taken place this year with 3 loved ones in my life taken from me and more person ish that just keeps stacking on me one after the other. I won't say the usual "keep your head up and good will hit you soon" even tho I pray for you and many others this year, but I will say family is true in harsh situations like this, so keep each other strong mentally through all this and keep fighting the best you can to get out of it together.

Breh I knew my family was so real when we bathed in a landromat. It was like despite it all, family matters (no pun or Urkel). Even if its just my wife and son, I love them so much despite it being the shyttiest of years. I never let them go and will always hold them down through it all.

Breh we already on deck. Sleep, trying to get doctor's appointments, focusing on trying to get a gig (I be goddamned if this shyt will ever again). I know I can troll my wife, but she was the only woman that I ever loved to be going through so much hell with. If that takes me to go to China or whatever country that maybe, I want to hold her palms in the process of jetlag.
