Best predator movies were 1 n 2

Rest are rehash bullshyt that never got it right. 3 was OK… but took too much from one. Literally redid multi scenes shot for shot, point for point

I do wan see something new

But a disneyfied predator makes me nervous. And i know what happens already so its kinda like do i really need to see a retarded runt predator defeat better ones.

The tone switch was off putting initially but the route they went works. That said if AVP ever becomes a thing again it needs to be rated R unless its just non human violence again

Sitting in the theater now after just watching and I'm torn on one hand hand it was cool that they gave the predator a "personality" on the other hand defeats the purpose of being predator.

Do i wanna see this again exactly next film? No. And i still wanna see the original avp comic done on screen.

That's cause it's not a sci-fi/ horror movie. Its a Disney/ kids movie. And when you look at it in that way its enjoyable and you can dismiss all the corniness, tone, jokes, and plot holes. The predator teams up with lilo and stitch and a pair of android legs to fight 100s of androids that are all of a sudden storm trooper jobber status. You cant compare or look at this in the same way as the original predator movies.

Seeing Predator fail to capture to magic and success of the original: This is terrible

Seeing Predator going into bold new direction and becoming a box office and critical acclaimed success: This is terrible

Movie might open to 40Ms this weekend.

I know many of us don’t care about the box office, but it matters to get more movies like this. A financially successful movie makes it more likely to get a sequel.

I think I saw this is a 100M dollar movie though. Technically to “break even” it has to gross 150M. Hopefully the movie has legs. I think the word of mouth will get the movie to 100M+.
