Pops was weak. He woulda lost to kwei if not for the disappearing act. Tried to do the same vs dek but dek had the counter. It's obvious pops hands were suspect in the first battle. And Kwei even said he was afraid of going to Genna so Dek already had more heart than him. Pops prolly never been battle tested like Dek was at Genna. So the final scene makes sense to me. Pops wasn't on his level at all.

Just finished watching this. I thought it was decent, 7.5/10. I prefer Prey over this, though.

Anyway, Predator: Badlands felt like Kong: Skull Island meets Avatar lol... but it worked.

I do feel as though the fight at the end between Dek and his father should've lasted longer.

Also, I didn't know that Elle Fanning had a booty

Nah i dont think it should. Dek went out and got experience. He defeated a beast his own dad was afraid of. So him struggling to beat his dad would have defeated the purpose, he on a diff level now

def didnt feel like a predator movie. I liked it but I don't think will ever get a real predator movie again.

Whats a real predator movie? it was a real predator to movie to me bc the whole premise was "hunting". And thats what predators have always done.

Dek didn't beat the Kalisk though. Just became friends with it (by reuniting it with it's child).

Also, nobody said anything about "struggling" to beat his dad. The fight should have lasted longer for entertainment and dramatic effect. That's all I'm saying.

This was a coo flick. I liked it.

Good pacing and some good humor. Felt a bit rushed towards the end but I liked the tone. Much better than I anticipated. Compared to some other action flicks last year this one is top-tier. Much better than weak sauce superman and F4.

Hopefully a sequel comes our way.
