even the advertising gave me the impression it was gonna be an action movie. Then next thing I see this mf pulling out spines and shyt

Got me dying. The previews I watched on cable didn't barely show Predator. When I was young I thought Arnold with the mud on & the torch was the Predator killing random dudes in the jungle. Saw the movie like

Even the music is the shyt. It always gave me Back To The Future vibes which made sense since Alan Silvestri did both. I know we probably talked about this ad nauseam but @hex can speak on how the movie just turned after they raided the guerilla camp. It just turns into a completely different movie and I love it. Classic through and through. Billy was a real life psychopath.

All this. Love how the alien uses billy laugh at the end. shyt still gives me chills.

Even though it wasn't shown I thought Billy cutting his chest & let's go was one of my favorite parts.

Great movie. John Carpenter directed it, and composed the soundtrack as well.

His movies always begin with a really good scene (The Thing, Escape, Big Trouble)

Th Pred film with Brody was how they should've done it but, instead they should've started from one of the clans. We could follow the life of a specific prrd from his training, the type of weapons and armors he'd master, and the final act his first mission

There are a couple effects scenes that look strange. Couple of grainy shots. But majority are beautiful.

Stan Winston is a fukking Genuis and the design of the predator is goat status. And it's a shame Kevin Peter Hall died, because for me, he embodied the predator. He played him in part 2 as well. Always thought they looked worse as the series went on. He was perfect for the design and gave him character.

It's an excellent action movie and each actor did their role flawlessly, that's why it's so good. There is too many great action movies to choose from, but it's definitely one of the perfect ones. I mean you could choose die hard and that is one excellent movie too.
