I was listening to some instrumentals while working out earlier today and started going back and listening to some Premier beats.

Premier was cranking them beats out left and right in 98' to 00'

classic beat after classic beat

all got that classic signature sound but at the same time don't sound alike or identical.

Premier was in his element.

I thought he was pretty much raised in NY :jbhmm:
FUK NO!!! he went to NY when he was 22 after college. The same way 2pac moved out west when he was 17. Hip hop and fans bet letting GROWN MEN move to cities and claim the cities as if they were born there :russ: . To Primo's credit, he's always let it be known that he was from Texas. The same with Guru. He's from Boston. The hottest NY duo in the 90s was a Texas, Massachusetts collaboration. hahaha. you can't make this up.

I was bamboozled my man. I read on Wikipedia he moved when he was a teenager. I should’ve known better. :snoop:
