From a pure objective standpoint, kendrick is maybe 4 or 5 times better than Drake

Also bigbiasedbadbossup is a fanboy and the problem with fanboys is that they aren't admirers of the artist's work, they're emotionally in love with him as a person.
he really is... kendrick has mastered everything that matter in hip hop, and dude is also mastering a lot of elements from other musical genres. No wonder why musicians praise him as a genius.

Myself
he's not a troll, but he really has a poor musical & hip hop knowledge. He really doesn't know shyt, he really doesn't even know how to describe the technical aspects of hip hop so don't ask him to talk about other genres, dude would be lost.

meh.

He's trying to come across as if he's the voice of the youth and what he's saying is real and indefinite and will forever reign true and it's something he'll always agree with no matter what.

That's his whole "take" on what he's gettin at

tbh Drake really has nothing on Kendrick, Kendrick is basically a much better rapper & artist in almost every aspect.

all Drake really can do is go personal or make singles and honestly, Kendrick has mastered that personal thing a lot more.

As far as singing, Kendrick isn't a singer. But he does have a knack for great melodies and hooks.

But Kendrick is obviously the more complete and versatile artist. Each album is basically an audio film complete with characters and a plot and accomplishes a different goal than the last. You think Drake could successfully pull off a Jazz/Funk oriented album? No. But Kendrick can and has also helped to boost jazz music last year. Drake has yet to make a single full fledged concept album. Kendrick has 3, each with an entirely different sound than the last.

When it comes to actual rapping/lyrical technique, Drake loses. BADLY

Kendrick, like I said before, can flip from a spoken word/poetry style to an aggressive rapping style, to the space age alien shyt etc. and does it all effectively.

Honestly, the only thing Drake has over Kendrick is Pop joints and Club/radio and that's because Kendrick doesn't focus on that. But we saw he was capable of it on GKMC.

Kendrick is better than Drake at personal songs, lyrical songs, storytelling and he's successfully pulled off R&B records like These Walls and Poetic Justice. Yea, Drake was on Poetic Justice but it was just a verse. Kendrick completely did everything else and it worked. And honestly, that's one of Drake's least memorable verses.

Kendrick has done more genre's than Drake, tried more rapping styles than Drake and has succeeded in Drake's lane as a mainstream artist making hits. He's more complete than Drake.

Oh and let's not forget, Kendrick is doing all his own writing. Even most of his hooks come from him. Drake got Hush, Kenza Samir, Quentin Miller, Nickleus F, Majid Jordan, Makonnen and probably other nikkas on payroll writing for him
People who know what they're talking about will cosign this.

Nobody on here takes him seriously, Dude just can't talk about the actual music because he ain't qualified to do so... so the only thing he does is talking about sales. He probably thinks Psy is the best rapper ever and gangnam style is the greatest song of all time.

I've read your post and most of this is half-baked. I could go into it but I don't wanna waste my time responding if you're not gonna give my response the same respect I gave yours.

Presidential co-signs.
Keys to his hometown.
Critically acclaimed albums.

Brehs witnessing history and tryna down play it.
I wonder if it was like this when illmatic/reasonable doubt/ready to die/me against the world dropped.
Or in an R&B sense when Songs In The Key Of Life/What's Going On/Purple Rain/ Off the Wall dropped.

people who are really looking to change the world aren't looking for cosigns from the establishment

yep

I'm a musician, and you could make at least 2000 arguments as to why kendrick is miles ahead of drake, but all of this is true... all of this.
