All I'm asking is for effort, for a mere push for legislation. You can't deny that Obama hasn't made any significant progress in his near 8 years as president for his black constituents in regards to institutionalized racism. And please do not make that lazy excuse of "he's not a dictator" or "he's not the president of black America". I haven't seen him address those issues besides little comments at speeches. He even referred to young black men as "thugs", while he pushes for LGBQT/immigrants/refugees to gain more rights in this country which would've never happened if black folks in this country didn't fight for OUR civil rights. Black lives matter wouldn't have become such a huge movement if black people didn't just wait around for our so called representatives to stand up for us. The black genocide continues, and Obama leaves office. What a sad state of affairs. I weep for my children.

Do pray tell, what legislative actions would you have liked him to take?

We need more blacks in office as city, state, and federal officials such as Marilyn Mosby (which, without her I honestly don't believe any of those officers would've even been tried at all or put to court). What the fukk do you know what I'm doing nikka, or are what other nikkas is doing in their own cities and states? Do you even know if we work with our district representatives and push them to get legislation passed in our respective states to hold police departments accountable for their unconstitutional practices, to push for more funding for our inner city public schools, more funding in our neighborhoods to redevelop and rebuild housing projects that may be unsafe to even live in? To bring more community owned coop markets so that folks living in low income communities can get access to healthier, safer food? You don't know what me, or what other folks are doing. But keep being complacent.
